Weekly programme, social hour, and contact details
There are two options to choose from – the ski-in-ski-out Teton Village at the base of the lifts or the town of Jackson, a twenty minute drive away. Whilst the former is more convenient and hosts the Ski Club Rep’s social hour, the latter is more vibrant and retains a wild west flavour. Expect saloons with swing doors, bars with live music and some decent food options.
For children the beginner slopes are right at the foot of the mountain, where the Kids Ranch is also located – a 20,000 sq foot facility designed specifically for kids – right in the middle of the action. Elsewhere, most off slope activities are generally located within the major hotels, but there is now an ice rink located in the heart of Teton Village and wildlife tours of the National Parks can be arranged.
The renowned Mangy Moose is the focus of après-ski activity at Teton Village and often plays host to live music. To meet with other Ski Club members, the Alpenhof Bar is the place to be for an après drink. Down in town, the Pink Garter is popular on Friday and Saturday nights, whilst the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar gets lively later and the Stagecoach Bar is one for a Sunday night live music.
Updated for 2024/25
Prices for Jackson Hole lift passes vary considerably throughout the year as the resort employs semi-dynamic pricing, meaning ticket prices vary by expected demand – unlike some other resorts, these are fixed in advance and shouldn’t change closer to the time. The below prices indicate the minimum and maximum you may be expected to pay throughout the year.
Jackson Hole continues to employ it’s COVID-era strategy of limiting walk-up daily pass sales; it is therefore strongly recommend to order in advance (where you stand to save a few pence, too). Holders of the Mountain Collective and Ikon passes must register their visits in advance – whilst this is optional in many resorts, it is essential for Jackson Hole.

Hello, and welcome to the first week of the Ski Club’s Snow Overviews for the 2024/25 winter season. With our first holidays jetting out this weekend, Reps eagerly packing their bags before heading out, and ski resorts opening across Europe, now is the perfect time to start thinking about snow!
Things remain very mindful, very demure out on the Left Coast, with high pressure dominating the region bringing fine, dry and bright conditions to huge swathes of the area. In the Rockies, things will stay cool to cold, with daytime highs of -5°C (23°C) rising to just shy of freezing across the region. The PNW will see milder conditions, with temperatures staying the wrong side of freezing at mid-mountain level for many areas. Things will begin to warm up gently as the new week progresses, but very little precipitation is in the forecast west of the Mississippi.
There are a series of low pressure areas beginning to build in the Pacific, so there is some hope that these will bring the first big cycles of the new season in the coming weeks.
On the Ice Coast, the weekend starts cool and turns cold, where daytime temperatures will hug -10°C (14°F) for much of the new week. Low cloud will bring steady flurries of snowfall, not necessarily enough to register on snow sticks but enough to keep things fresh for those out scoring early season turns.
We are making important changes to how you register to ski with the Club this season, including shifting registration to the Ski Club App. Please note, this option is not yet available; we thank you for your patience in this matter.
Your Ski Club Reps are in resort for one reason only; to help you discover better skiing. They are your personal resort gurus, with years of experience skiing here and around the world, who will bring you and your fellow Members together to conquer the mountain! Stay up to date with everything in resort, find the best spots for an après beer, and ski to your heart’s content.
Our Reps will be in resort between 4 January and 7 March 2025, skiing six days a week – Reps’ day off/changeover day is Saturday in this resort. We are making changes to how registration to ski with the Club in resort works. Thank you for your patience whilst we undertake these updates to the registration process.
I have been skiing since the age of 14 or was it 12? So long ago I can't remember! Never happier than when in the mountains with good company, some of my best memories and many of my friends have come through skiing.
For me, giving something back to the sport I have had so much enjoyment from is really important and through 2015 / 16 I was privileged to coach a young woman to success in the Special Olympics in Serre Chevalier. My enthusiasm for skiing is only surpassed by my sense of humour and I look forward to sharing bad jokes, lots of laughs and great times in the mountains with Ski Club members.
Meeting new people, making new friends, having great experiences in the outdoors - What could be better?
I came relatively late to skiing at 18 but have been an enthusiastic participant ever since. Lots of Scottish skiing at university followed by a season as a ski guide in Grindelwald in the mid-90s. When our children were learning I took the opportunity to switch disciplines, and I have for the past 15 years only skied telemark. I enjoy all conditions on and off-piste (except breakable crust which on tele skis I still haven’t quite worked out) and usually spend time each season doing some ski touring which I love. Out of season I am a keen mountain biker, sailor, diver and Wainright bagger. I look forward to skiing with you and hope to convert some of you to the delights of free-heel skiing
