Building off the success of the Mirus Cor – that bright orange swallow-tailed ski you definitely saw last season – the Octo is another attempt to bring Black Crows’ pedigree to the corduroy. Unfortunately, this is a disappointment compared to the Mirus Cor. Black Crows have taken their freeride skis and shrunk them until the waist matches that of a piste ski. The freeride ratios to the tip and tail remain, however, and there is no additional tech in the ski, meaning it becomes an clappy, stiff, slippy piste ski.
