Our Membership Prices

We are able to offer a seasonnaires extension on this limits, which provides unlimited skiing and an unlimited trip length for a 5 month period between 1 December and 30 April. We are pleased to offer policies for five age categories (at the time of taking out a policy):

  • Under 35yo
  • Age 35-50 (from 1 February 2025)
  • Age 51-69 (from 1 February 2025)
  • Age 70-75
  • Age 75-80 (for individuals only)

From 1 February 2025, our 35-69 age bracket will no longer be available, and instead replaced by two separate categories as indicated above.

 

All prices include your annual membership & multi-trip travel insurance for all named persons.

Our definition of Europe extends to cover most of geographic Europe, as well as European Russia, Turkey, Egypt, Libya, Algeria, Tunisia and Morocco. Please read the policy wording to see exactly where is covered. There are no geographical restrictions when travelling under this policy; this does not include locations where the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office have advised against all or all but essential travel – please check before travelling.

Important Policy Summaries

Please read your policy documents carefully when taking out Ski Club Platinum Insurance and Membership; key bits are summarised here, but it is essential you fully understand the cover provided under Ski Club Platinum Insurance and Membership.

If you are not happy with the cover provided, all Ski Club Travel Insurance and Platinum Membership packages offer a no questions asked cancellation period of 14 days from the time you take out the policy.

We have four age categories available, designed to offer the best value for your needs. These are:

  • Under 35yo
  • Age 35-69
  • Age 70-75
  • Age 75-80 (Available on an Individual basis only)

Age limits and appropriate categories are evaluated only when taking out a policy using your age at that time; transitions between categories will be assessed at your next renewal.

 

You must read your policy documents carefully to ensure that the cover provided is suitable for your wants and needs. There is a 14-day cooling off period, during which you may cancel your policy for a full refund of all premiums paid, if the insurance provided as part of our Platinum Membership does not meet your demands and needs. Otherwise, our standard terms and conditions apply. If you wish to cancel then contact the Ski Club Memberships Team

Please be aware that there is no cover under any section of the policy provided as part of Platinum Membership for travel in relation to a destination to which the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office has advised against all or all but essential travel.

Our Platinum Membership provides an Activity Pack that is very comprehensive – this includes skiing/snowboard, off piste, without a guide and outside of resort boundaries, as well as heliskiing, cat skiing, touring and telemarking. From 1st Jan 2024 further Activity Packs are not available to upgrade to. It is therefore important that when purchasing your policy you understand that the Activity Pack provided as standard meets your needs for your trips over the next 12 months.

Changes to Winter Sports Days

The insurance provided as part of our Platinum Membership provides cover for up to 60 winter sports days in one year, of which 31 can be taken on any one single trip.

 

Extending Your Winter Sports Days

We are able to offer our 5 month seasonnaires extension to all Platinum members.

Unfortunately we are no longer able to offer our 60, 90 or 120 day trip extension as we have in the past; we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

You may need to declare medical conditions to our insurance providers to ensure that appropriate cover is available. Please read your policy documents carefully to understand exactly what may be required of you. Please contact the medical screening team on 0330 660 0749 for more information. This can be done either before or after you complete the joining or upgrade process.

Please note, if you do declare medical conditions to our insurers, these must be renewed each year alongside your annual travel insurance and membership. Should you develop any new conditions, an existing condition changes, or you suffer injury, you must update the medical screening team as soon as possible in line with the policy terms.

Please be aware that we are only able to offer Ski Club Travel Insurance Policies, including our Ski Club Platinum Membership, to those resident in the UK, Isle of Man or Channel Islands. 

For the purposes of clarity, throughout our policy documents the UK is considered as including the Isle of Man at all times; the Channel Islands are defined separately. This generally does not effect the cover provided, except in regards to defining trips within or without the United Kingdom (see below).

The insurance provided as part of Platinum Membership includes cover for some travel within the United Kingdom (inc. Isle of Man). The following restrictions and definitions apply:

  • The “United Kingdom” includes the Isle of Man, but not the Channel Islands – trips from the UK (inc. Isle of Man) to the Channel Islands and vice versa are considered as “European” and therefore fall under the normal scope of the policy
  • Trips within the United Kingdom are considered as insured if they are for two nights or more and in pre-booked accommodation.
  • Please note there is no cover for emergency medical expenses on trips within the United Kingdom, including mountain rescue and as a result of winter sports, as these services are provided free at the point of use within the UK.

For the purposes of clarity, throughout our policy documents the UK is considered as including the Isle of Man at all times and this is not referred to separately; the Channel Islands are defined separately. This generally does not effect the cover provided, except in regards to defining trips within or without the United Kingdom as explained here.

  • The Ski Club’s best value travel insurance package includes your Ski Club Membership
  • Family Platinum Membership includes cover for children up to the age of 23 when in full-time education – including cover for independent travel
  • COVID-19 cover remains in place, but a separate endorsement is no longer included – read your policy wording for more details.
  • Ski off-piste, without a guide, and outside of resort boundaries up to 60 days a year (31 on any single trip)
  • Speak to the Ski Club Membership Department about trip extensions, annual increases on-snow or long-term seasonnaires cover
