Please note, liability insurance does not provide cover for amongst other things, emergency medical expenses, cancellation, or lost baggage provided as part of travel insurance; you should continue to take our appropriate travel insurance suitable to the activities you wish to pursue when on your holiday. Liability insurance is only available for Members who are resident in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man.

Public liability insurance protects you as a member of the Ski Club of Great Britain for claims brought against you for third party injury or property damage.

An excess of £250 has been applied to this insurance cover.

Anyone holding any membership to the Ski Club is automatically provided cover under Ski Club Liability Insurance as a benefit of their membership. This applies to all spouses and dependents, too.

Yes, the insurance will extend to cover you Worldwide.

You are covered for partaking in all sports the Ski Club normally promotes and offers, including (but not limited to) skiing, snowboarding, telemarking, ski touring, off piste and backcountry skiing, and splitboarding.

Yes, the insurance will cover you for taking part in the Murren Inferno, DHO, Kandahar and AICC races.

Yes, however this cover is in line with the Ski Club of GB’s definition of off-piste which has been pre-agreed by insurers – Off-piste is defined as when the skier is not travelling on a groomed and prepared piste, the only exception to this is when a marked piste is clearly signed as open but has not been groomed. This can then be considered a pisted run. Itineraries routes as defined by the resort that are marked, avalanche controlled and patrolled are considered off-piste and therefore subject to the off-piste policy. These may be described differently in different resorts.
