During this holiday, you’ll spend three days with local instructors and three days social skiing with Reps. Your Ski Club Rep will ski with the groups as a member sharing their knowledge of the area, including the quietest pistes, best runs, and tastiest lunch spots. It is essential that guests are of the correct ski standard for the holiday before booking. For more information on this, please see the ‘View dates & prices’ tab.
We are ATOL and ABTOT protected so you can book with confidence knowing your money is secure.

Our base for the week is the comfortable 4* Sporthotel Royer, where you’ll stay on a half board basis in twin share accommodation. The hotel lies only a 10 minute walk from the lifts as well as Schladming’s town centre. If you are a solo traveller, then you will be placed in a room with someone of the same gender. Single rooms may be available upon request. These are subject to our hotel room allowance. If you require a single room, please book early to avoid disappointment.
This holiday includes both your flights and transfers. The flights are with British Airways and depart from London Gatwick to Salzburg Airport. Ski carriage is only payable at the airport and cannot be pre-booked.

Your Ski Club Rep will coordinate the coach transfer from the airport, so please look out for them in the main arrivals hall – they will be wearing their Ski Club jacket. Transfers to and from resort will take approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.
If these travel arrangements are not convenient, you may be eligible to organise your own travel and receive a nominal discount from the holiday cost. Furthermore, if you can find alternative flights that coincide with our flight times then you can meet the group at the airport and take our transfer to resort. Please contact the Freshtracks office on 020 8410 2022 in order to discuss this further.
If you require ski hire, SkiSet via our website offer our members discounts. The 2 shops closest to the hotel are Sport & Mode Tritscher I or Sport Tritscher III Planai (Olympic). Alternatively, there are 2 Intersport hire shops a short walk away which have both been highly recommended.
Lift passes can be purchased from the hotel upon arrival, or can be bought online ahead of departure at Ski Amade.

It is a condition of booking that you have valid and adequate snowsports insurance. It is your responsibility to ensure your policy provides cover for all the activities that you participate in during your holiday.
We offer a Ski Club Insurance policy which provides the cover we require for all bookings. This policy can be found here: Ski Club Travel Insurance – Ski Club Of Great Britain

Due to the type of holidays that you will be booking with us, we also advise that your policy should include skiing off-piste without a guide. Please note, insurance premiums must be paid at the same time as booking in order for the package holiday or single service cancellation cover to be effective.
