7 nights half board, 3* hotel, twin share, return scheduled flights, coach transfers, 6 days with mountain guides
Situated to the west of Badgastein, the slopes in Heiligenblut are quiet and are mainly blues and reds in two areas. The 12 lifts include three gondolas and serve 55km of groomed runs, though the extensive freeride terrain is the real draw. Due to the altitude, the resort’s six freeride arenas offer great snow for much of the season and the lack of crowds mean the slopes stay untracked for longer.
The 4*Hotel Kaerntnerhof is located just a short walk from the heart of Heiligenblut. You’ll be staying for 7 nights on a half board basis, with complimentary house beer/wine/soft drinks at dinner. You are welcome to kick back and relax in the wellness facilities, and indulge yourself with the excellent food, served by friendly hosts. This holiday is on a twin share basis. If you are a solo traveller, then you will be placed in a room with someone of the same gender. Single rooms may be available upon request. These are subject to our hotel room allowance. If you require a single room, please book early to avoid disappointment.
Scheduled return flights with British Airways from London Gatwick to Salzburg are included in the trip. Ski carriage is payable at the airport only and cannot be pre-booked.
12th – 19th Jan 2025 : LGW – SZG BA2624 0715-1015 // BA2629 1650-1750
Your Ski Club Rep will coordinate the transfer when you arrive at Salzburg airport. Please meet them in the main arrivals hall – they will be wearing their blue Ski Club jacket.
If these arrangements are not convenient, you can organise your own travel and may be eligible to receive a nominal discount from the holiday cost. Furthermore, if you can find alternative flights that coincide with our flight times, then you can meet the group at the airport and take our transfers to resort. Please do not book any alternative flights or travel until your holiday has been confirmed to run. Please contact the Freshtracks office on 020 8410 2022 in order to discuss this further.
Once the holiday has been confirmed, please send your flight details (flight numbers, arrival and departure time) to the Freshtracks Team via email to ku.oc.bulciks@sloh.
If you require ski hire, we recommend Intersport Grossglockner. This is located a 10-minute walk from your hotel. Ski Hire can either be pre-booked online, or you can organise this in resort with the help of your Ski Club Rep.
