Explore this legendary area’s best off piste routes over three days in the company of an IFMGA mountain guide. Due to La Grave’s terrain this trip is aimed at Advanced (Purple) and Expert (Gold) off piste skiers. At the end of the week, you will receive an updated grading from your guide or Ski Club Rep. When participating in a purple/Gold off piste holiday you should be prepared to do some ski touring at some point during the trip. Where possible the lift system will be used to access off piste terrain, however if you need to venture a bit further afield in order to access the best off piste conditions, then your guide may suggest ski touring. This will all be dependent upon conditions and the guides you have on your trip.
We are ATOL and ABTOT protected so you can book with confidence knowing your money is secure.

There is nothing here for beginners, intermediates or those with little off piste experience. But for those with the skills, La Grave is arguably the world leader for lift-accessed off piste. The couloirs, powder fields and glaciated terrain offer up some spectacular descents, dropping over 2000m from the top of the iconic gondola to Les Ruillans.
The 3* Auberge Edelweiss is located less than 5 minutes’ walk from the Telepherique and is the perfect base for winter activities. You will be staying for 7 night’s on a half board basis, with lunch bought on the mountain and paid for locally. The building is a centuries old coaching inn, and is steeped in history and charm. The interior is furnished in a rustic, chalet style, and the cosy lounge is the perfect place to relax after a long day on the slopes. Other than a few cosy bars and local amenities, there is not much in the way of après or off-snow activity, but after a long day conquering skinny couloirs and shredding steep tree lines what more could you need?
This holiday is on a twin share basis. If you are a solo traveler, then you will be placed in a room with someone of the same gender. Single rooms may be available upon request. These are subject to our chalet room allowance. If you require a single room, please book early to avoid disappointment.
Flights are not included, however there is a set transfer from Turin airport. The Ski Club rep will meet you in the arrivals hall of Turin Airport.
