On this holiday you’ll spend six days social skiing with other members and will be split into groups of 8/9 based on your ski profile. If you’re unsure of your ski profile, please visit our ‘Ski Profiles’ page. On our social skiing holidays, your Ski Club Rep will ski with the groups as a member sharing their knowledge of the area from the quietest pistes, best runs and tastiest lunch spots.
We are ATOL and ABTOT protected so you can book with confidence knowing your money is secure.

You will be staying in the 4* Johannesbad Palace hotel, offering an incredible range of spa facilities. This includes an indoor pool with amazing views, a herbal sauna, steam baths and more. After dinner you can relax by the open fire in the stylish bar, with astounding views of the surroundings. Breakfast and dinners are served on a buffet basis, with a huge range of international options to keep you fuelled. This holiday is on a single occupancy basis. You will therefore be placed in a room on your own for the duration of the trip. If you would prefer to share a room with someone you know, then please contact the Freshtracks office and we will make the relevant arrangements.
This holiday includes both your flights and transfers. The flights are with British Airways departing from London Gatwick or London Heathrow to Salzburg Airport. Ski carriage is payable at the airport only and cannot be pre-booked. Please see specific flight information below.
4th – 11th Jan 202 : LGW – SZG BA2626 1140-1435 // BA2627 1530-1630
8th – 15th Mar 2025 : LHR – SZG BA0682 1105-1410 // BA0683 1505-1610
Your Ski Club Rep will coordinate the coach transfer from Salzburg airport, so please look out for them in the main arrivals hall; they will be wearing their Ski Club jacket. The transfer will take roughly one and a half hours.
If these arrangements are not convenient, you can organise your own travel and may be eligible to receive a nominal discount from the holiday cost. Furthermore, if you can find alternative flights that coincide with our flight times, then you can meet the group at the airport and take our transfers to resort. Please do not book any alternative flights or travel until your holiday has been confirmed to run. Please contact the Freshtracks office on 020 8410 2022 in order to discuss this further.
If you need to hire equipment, we recommend the Intersport Fleis Bad Hofgastein. This is located 10 minutes from the hotel, and next to the main ski lift. They also offer a range of in resort discounts.
We recommend purchasing your lift passes ahead of time through the Ski Gastein website. Guests will receive a discount when booking online ahead of departure, and the earlier the lift pass is booked, the lower the price. Once in resort, these can be collected from the lift pass office.
4th – 11th Jan 2025 : Deborah O’Doherty & Jeremy Crowley
8th – 15th March 2025 : Graham Morgan & Michael Gent
It is a condition of booking that you have valid and adequate snowsports insurance. It is your responsibility to ensure your policy provides cover for all the activities that you participate in during your holiday.
We offer a Ski Club Insurance policy which provides the cover we require for all bookings. This policy can be found here: Ski Club Travel Insurance – Ski Club Of Great Britain

Due to the type of holidays that you will be booking with us, we also advise that your policy should include skiing off-piste without a guide. Please note, insurance premiums must be paid at the same time as booking in order for the package holiday or single service cancellation cover to be effective.
