I am a keen all mountain skier, love skiing with my family, friends and club members. When I'm not skiing I'm a keen touring cyclist, enjoy sailing and generally being outdoors!

I practice Homeopathy and the Bowen technique in and around Birmingham.(Bowen technique is a light touch therapy very good for skiing injuries etc ) Don't let the health stuff put you of, I enjoy a laugh and a good drink like most reps!

Grew up in Tenby West Wales with early years very much focused on water based activities. Had the opportunity to go on a school Ski Trip when I was 15 and immediately bonded with Mountains. Spent 30 plus years addicted to Mountain Biking and that evolved into Hiking & Running. Enjoy nothing more than summer trekking in The Alps with the odd change of scenery in North/South America. Based in Cardiff have the fantastic Brecon Beacons on the doorstep to explore and enjoy. My real buzz has always been skiing and having extensive experience of Europe and North America I absolutely relish every day I can get out on the snow.

Been skiing since 91 (late starter), with the Club since 2006. Looking forward to some social skiing this year, always have FUN, on and OFF the slopes. Not sure what this year holds yet, but I'm on course (as usual) to ski every month of the season. Starting with a trip to Club Med in Val Thorens with some of my other Rep chums in December.

A little drive down to Les Carroz in January to lovely little slope side hotel with some old friends. February brings a large group of friends and neighbours on a package to Saalbach, where it all began in 91! Then March, Bad Hofgastein with the Club (again). Finish up with a drive down to Club Med in Les Arcs (Vallandry) in April with a large group of friends. I'm hoping to fit some more in too!

I completed the repping course in December 2022 having been a ski club member for around 10 years, mainly skiing in Val d'isere where I've skied with some really great people and made some good friends.I started skiing in 1986/7 when I did a season in Val d'isere working in Dicks T Bar having never skied before I turned up looking for a job followed by a season in Meribel for a tour company. I've been lucky to have skied in many resorts around Europe including Val d'isere, 3 valleys, Zermatt and La Grave being some of my favourites and are looking forward to skiing with ski club members in some new resorts. In the early 2000s me and my wife Kathryn worked for Silver Ski for 2 seasons running a chalet without ending in divorce. To keep fit I enjoy cycling both road and mountain and playing golf and walking with my cocker spaniel in and around the North Yorkshire dales and moors close to where I live.

  • The picturesque spa town has long attracted holidaymakers looking for that combination of great skiing and an array of off slope activities.

One of the most significant draws to Bad Hofgastein is its impressive spa facilities that draw mineral-rich thermal waters from the mountains – perfect for easing those aching muscles after a long day on the slopes. Another draw is the access to the 86km of local pistes above the village that has been transformed following the construction of the Schlossalmbahn gondola, a mammoth project costing €85 million. Add in a further 93km of runs in the rest of the valley‘s three ski areas – all of which are connected by a good bus service – and the variety will keep even the keenest skiers busy for a week.

It is a condition of booking that you have valid and adequate snowsports insurance. It is your responsibility to ensure your policy provides cover for all the activities that you participate in during your holiday.

We offer a Ski Club Insurance policy which provides the cover we require for all bookings. This policy can be found here: Ski Club Travel Insurance – Ski Club Of Great Britain

If you decide to purchase insurance elsewhere, it is your responsibility to ensure that your policy provides cover as that of the Ski Club Insurance policy. The policy of insurance should provide cover for personal injury, death, medical and repatriation costs in the countries which you intend to visit, together with cover for loss of baggage and valuables, personal liability, delay, cancellation, curtailment, missed departure and legal expenses. The policy should also include cover against losses caused by the effects or consequences of Covid-19.

Due to the type of holidays that you will be booking with us, we also advise that your policy should include skiing off-piste without a guide. Please note, insurance premiums must be paid at the same time as booking in order for the package holiday or single service cancellation cover to be effective. It is also advised to keep your insurance details with you while you are on your holiday. If you choose to travel without adequate insurance cover, we will not be liable for any losses howsoever arising, in respect of which insurance cover would otherwise have been available.
