Obereggen itself only has 48 kilometres of pistes but combined with Val di Fiemme there are 111km of slopes on offer.
What’s more it sits within the Dolomiti Superski area which offers 1200km of pistes! Obereggen itself has plenty on offer for all abilities of skier but is mainly suited to intermediates. For beginners there is a beginners park near the resort centre.
Intermediates can take the gondola out of the resort and ski the reds in Obereggen itself or head over to Pampeago where there are many more reds on offer. Advanced skiers will also find more runs suited to them in Pampeago, although to find real challenges they will have to head off piste or access the rest of the Dolomiti Superski area.
There are a handful of hotels and apartments in Obereggen. Pampeago and Predazzo offer nearby alternative accommodation locations. Innsbruck airport is located a two hour drive away from Obereggen.

A series of low pressure areas fight it out over northern Italy as the new week begins, bringing snow to areas across the Italian Alps over this period.
The best of this will be in the northeast, which receives a direct hit from one of these low pressure areas. Around 40cm of snow can be expected down, starting on Sunday evening and continuing on through Monday, with the occasional flocon continuing through Tuesday. Note the freezing line remains high, so this will be mostly limited to slopes above 2,000m.
Further west and south, snow will still come at the same time, albeit less of it; 25cm in the Aosta, and 20cm in the Via Lattea. Similarly, a high freezing line limits this to slopes above 2,000m
Sun begins to peak through again through the middle of the new week, but more cloud and, hopefully, more snow, moves across the region later next week.
