When I was invited to a bucket-list trip to Norway, I knew I needed a jacket that would stand up to the rugged terrain and cold temperatures of the Arctic Circle.
The Lyngen Touring Shell Pro Jacket 2.0 and Teton Pro Pants 3.0 are the ultimate companion for any adventure, seamlessly transitioning from cruising the pistes to exploring the fjords. Its lightweight design, soft-to-the-touch fabric, and exceptional practicality make it a standout choice.
It is clearly design by a woman, for a woman, which can be hard to find in the ski apparel industry. The ideal slim line fit, hugs in slightly at the waist, without being overly snug! It was the perfect weight and size to wear as a standalone jacket or with an additional mid-layer for those cooler days.
The jacket features full-body vents on both sides, meaning when skinning up, you don’t have to overheat, but then keeps the warmth in, when you are speeding back down towards the fjord line. Other functional benefits include plenty of outer & inner pockets, wrist gaiters with thumb holes & helmet-sized hood – great for those cooler, snowier days.
I loved the colour to add something bright and vibrant to my outfit, without being too outlandish! I got plenty of compliments from my group and everyone said how professional I looked – a shame my skiing couldn’t quite keep up to the statement!
The Teton Pro Pants 3.0 are the ideal complement to the Lyngen Touring Shell Pro Jacket 2.0. As a taller female skier, I found the fit to be spot on—long enough for coverage but not swinging at my ankles! The pants offer a comfortable fit around the waist and hips, thanks to their flexible material that allows for freedom of movement. The addition of dungaree straps is a thoughtful touch, ensuring the pants stay securely in place throughout the day, no matter how active the adventure. These pants combine style, function, and fit seamlessly.
All-round both fantastic products that I would recommend to all my female skiing friends!

Like all MGG products, these jackets and pants are made in Europe. This commitment to European production is a key factor in the retail price, particularly for the jacket, which may seem high at first glance for a shell. However, this isn’t just any shell, it’s crafted from Pertex® Shield, one of the highest-quality waterproof materials available, offering a significant upgrade from Gore-Tex in terms of softness and flexibility. Both products are now 40% off, making them far more accessible than their original RRP.
