The north-facing bowl above Flaine has a reputation for maintaining great snow conditions, whether this is on the gentle blues above the resort or on the plentiful off piste that gives this resort so much variety. Add in the network of mostly tree-lined slopes dropping down towards Samoëns, Les Carroz and Morillon and the 265km of linked pistes will keep all but the most expert of skiers happy. So, it’s no surprise that Flaine has long been a key part of Ski Club Freshtracks and once again this winter we’re offering 15+ weeks of holidays at the two Chalet Freshtracks – ranging from Advanced Powder Skills holidays to Learn to Ski Powder trips.
Expect a warm welcome and fantastic hospitality throughout your trip to Flaine. You will stay in one of our two Scandinavian style chalets located in the colourful Hameau de Flaine in the upper part of the resort.
Your holiday includes a 7 night chalet stay with full chalet service including; continental breakfast on 7 mornings plus hot options on 5 mornings, afternoon tea cakes on 6 days, three course meals on 5 nights, a pre prepared meal on Monday night (your rep will help to serve), Cremant & canapes on 2 nights, cheeseboard and port on 2 nights and to wash it all down, beer and wine is included on an evening. Our experienced chalet hosts will be on hand to look after you throughout your stay, they will have a day off on a Wednesday when your Ski Club rep will organise a restaurant (payable locally). They also be off on a Monday evening and one other morning.
Each chalet has 6 bedrooms, 3 of which are en suite and the other 3 on the upper level, have use of a shared bathroom and are for single occupancy. Both chalets have WiFi and are equipped with a spacious open plan living and dining area, plus a sauna to ease those aching muscles at the end of the day. There is no parking at the chalet, however there are free parking options close by, should you choose to drive to resort.
Flights are not included on this holiday, however a return group transfer departing from Geneva Airport at 15:30 is provided. Please arrive at the airport at least one hour before. We ask that you meet your Ski Club Rep at the Jazz Café in the arrivals hall by 15:00 at the latest to ensure the smooth running of the transfer. The return transfer will arrive back to Geneva airport on the inbound date by 10:45. We recommend you book a return flight that departs at 13:00 or later.
If you are choosing to drive to resort, please note that there is no parking at the chalets. There are, however, some spaces above the chalets and also free parking in the Col de Pierre car park approx. a 15 minute walk from the chalets.
Once the holiday has been confirmed, please send your flight details (flight numbers, arrival and departure time) to the Freshtracks Team via email to ku.oc.bulciks@sloh.
