I completed the Rep's Course in 2004 and was Rep in resort in Flaine for over 10 years. I have repped many Freshtracks holidays in Wengen and Klosters. I take a real pleasure in skiing with enthusiastic skiers in the mountains, never mind the pace! I look forward to meeting you on the slopes.

I've been skiing since my teens and was hooked after my first school ski trip. I met my husband, Peter, indirectly through skiing and he introduced me to the Ski Club. We are both reps and our two sons are skiers who are already overtaking us down the mountains. We live in West Sussex within the South Downs National Park, unfortunately not high enough to ski on but I can at least enjoy plenty of walking which keeps me fit. My favourite resorts are Madonna, Cortina, Zermatt, Lech and St. Anton.

Now semi-retired I am looking forward to my Summer in the mountains as a mountain leader. Winter 2023 holds the promise of skiing in Zermatt and Davos in addition to Cervinia and the beautiful Dolomites. I look forward to meeting some old friends and to forging new friendships through SCGB!

  • The mostly tree-lined slopes of the ski area are an intermediate’s paradise, but there are also some good beginner areas and some steeper terrain on offer for those less or more experienced.

Despite the relatively low altitude, a vast snowmaking system ensures reliable conditions throughout the winter, just keep an eye out for slushier patches come spring. The resort itself is bustling, with lots of good shops, lively bars and excellent restaurants, all set in a pretty wooded valley and surrounded by breathtaking Dolomite scenery.

It is a condition of booking that you have valid and adequate snowsports insurance. It is your responsibility to ensure your policy provides cover for all the activities that you participate in during your holiday.

We offer a Ski Club Insurance policy which provides the cover we require for all bookings. This policy can be found here: Ski Club Travel Insurance – Ski Club Of Great Britain

If you decide to purchase insurance elsewhere, it is your responsibility to ensure that your policy provides cover as that of the Ski Club Insurance policy. The policy of insurance should provide cover for personal injury, death, medical and repatriation costs in the countries which you intend to visit, together with cover for loss of baggage and valuables, personal liability, delay, cancellation, curtailment, missed departure and legal expenses. The policy should also include cover against losses caused by the effects or consequences of Covid-19.

Due to the type of holidays that you will be booking with us, we also advise that your policy should include skiing off-piste without a guide. Please note, insurance premiums must be paid at the same time as booking in order for the package holiday or single service cancellation cover to be effective. It is also advised to keep your insurance details with you while you are on your holiday. If you choose to travel without adequate insurance cover, we will not be liable for any losses howsoever arising, in respect of which insurance cover would otherwise have been available.

Check your passport meets these requirements before you travel.
